So TV's Mr Mean is ready to settle down at last. Simon Cowell may say he has given his heart to new love Mezhgan Hussainy and asked her to marry him - but do actions speak louder than words?
Simon's first public kiss on the American Jay Leno show was somewhat lacking in passion - and certainly lacked the 'X Factor.'
While Mezhgan's body language reveals true devotion - her whole body turned towards him with her eyes closed, lost in the moment - Simon's body language revealed something very different.
The hand clamped around her neck suggests he wants to keep tight control of his new love, while his open eyes suggest he is focused very much on the outside world. In fact, his eyes were somewhere else entirely.
Either British reserve got the better of him - at one point Simon admitted "I am blushing" as Leno pushed him to talk about his new relationship - or things aren't quite as they seem between the couple.

I don't know about Simon's sincerity but I wish he would pay more attention to his dress sense. With all his money I would have thought he could dress better than he does. What's with the shapeless baggy jeans and the plunging necklines? He seems to be obsessed with showing off his chest, which isn't particularly attractive.

I think Simon should out himself - Honestly.. those chest bearing shirts - they'd make Wham proud!

maybe he shows it more behind closed doors and not for the camera's....
if he did more , the story could have been " simons faking it".. so he cant win either way....

Not everyone is comfortable showing affection in public with millions of viewers watching, especially when you are going to be analysed about how you are doing it? Leave the guy alone to be who he is and live his life in a way that makes him happy. I think they make a lovely couple and I wish them well.

Yes.......I couldn't agree more Lara. I love my other half to bits and he me but passion is for private moments and to be more or less pushed into a public display would be uncomfortable and embarrassing. No-one is all bad, so hey, you other posts.....give the bloke a break.....he may be rich, he may be famous and very high profile but has it occured to anyone that he may also be shy? We may all think we know him but how on earth can we?
