You've got to be one spunky sister to contemplate undergoing one of these bad ass beauty treatments. From toe tucks to ear pointing, these body mods aren't for the faint hearted.
Warning: Some of the images in this gallery aren't for the squeamish

Scary beauty
Jeepers creepers! Where'd you get THOSE peepers?
Believe it or not, some brave / bonkers boys and girls enjoy the odd spot of eyeball tattooing. Shannon Larratt, proud owner of one painted peeper says: "The eye is very resilient; it is designed to be able to handle contaminants." Ooof, we're off for a lie down, we've come over a little faint...

To lose ones sight must be terrible, yet some people are prepared to risk their ability to see by having their eyes tatooed. It is beyond belief. Tats can become infected, so I would presume there is a real risk of losing eyes as well. For goodness sake what ever next.

It is unbelievable to think that people get slices of themselves cut off, bags of cr*p inserted into there breasts (and male abs) pieces cut off or added to there noses, even their arses BLEACHED but havin your eyes injected with ink is the most insaine think i have ever heard in my life, if you told these complete nutters that beauty was on the INSIDE they would probably want there heart and lungs tattood.
forget the surgeon and find them a good psychiatrist

Possibly a brain transplant may be the best option. From the self-centred, vain and most likely terribly insecure psychotic and negative brain of the people who deem that their only route to fame or success in life is to have extreme surgery and so called beauty treatments, to a more altruistic and intelligent form that is capable of caring for others, possibly more than themselves!
Seriously though, what about when the surgery or enhancements fail or go wrong? Who picks up the pieces and tries to amend the many mistakes and errors of so called beauticians, plastic surgeons and the rest who have performed everything from body piercing to bad liposuction? The NHS in the main!
There will always be vanity, but in this celebrity air brushed culture where looks, not intelligence or personality are paramount - is it any wonder that men and women of all ages are becoming less and less satisfied with their bodies. If it carries on with this intensity over the next generations we will potentially end up with 'genetically engineered babies' designed by parents in consultation with beauticians and introduced into the womb!

I'm afraid this is just another example of the trashy underclass that inhabits the sewers of modern day society. Such exhibitionism defies description or explanation, in fact anyone who asks what the problem with it is quite simply wouldn't understand the answer, unless of course it was tattooed directly onto their walnut sized brain. Anyway, we have to accept that these neanderthals do exist, they do swarm like virus, we do have to see them on the streets and in our shops offices and the like, and however much we may disapprove, we can be sure their perverted and very very sad efforts to get noticed do actually work. Clearly this would be their "best" effort as any form of productive, artistic or tasteful display would be beyond their puny endeavour so perhaps we should just accept it all and hope they all die very quickly of complications brought about by their insane antics.

Yoyeeks!!! - Hold the front page!!!
I just noticed how old most of the comments in response to this article are. I then checked the date of the piece itself: February the fupping first no less! Is NOTHING new under the AOL sun? Surely their intrepid little clutch of journalists - " Russell Bland" et al, isn't it? - could whip up some fresh current affairs items for us, the news-hungry AOL readership? I mean, it's not as if any of it has to be true or accurate or well written or anything. Come on you AOL news hounds - this recycling nonsense will not do. We demand bang up to the minute news fabrictions, if you please!

How anyone could do this voluntarily, I've no idea, having been through something similar myself.
It was to remove cataracts though (caused by the radiotherapy I had prior to a bone marrow transplant for leukaemia)
It was the most horrible experience, 10 out of 10 on the toe-curlingly painful scale, and worse than having a baby.
Even under the most stringent of sterile conditions, in an operating theatre, I developed infection/inflammation in the back of my eye.
You know not what you do!

what some plonkers will do to have a eyeball. sure are kranky. and stupid. as for having a baby is bad i dispute that as look at all the population in the world and we all grew from a baby. a woman up my street has ten kids so it cant be too bad
